AACCOS founded by the Kalasho Family


American Arab Chaldean Community Outreach Services (AACCOS) opens its doors in Detroit and becomes a beacon of hope for newcomers resettling in the United States. This would later become INVEST (International Network for Vocational Educational Skills Training) which today is Kalasho Education and Youth Services.

Kalasho Family Expands Education

The pivotal year when the Kalasho family extended their educational reach, focusing on providing quality education and opportunities to underserved areas.

Clinton Expands Educational Opportunities

The year Kalasho Education and Youth Services was founded. Originally named International Network for Vocational Educational Skills Training, the non-profit was established to provide complimentary job training and workforce development for eager participants.

Kalasho Sports Academy

Education Advisory Board

Showcasing the establishment of an Education Advisory Board to guide and uplift the organization's educational strategies and outcomes.

INVEST schools founded in Partnership with Hazel Park Schools

INVEST is a Michigan-based non-profit dedicated to education preservation and community coalition building, well-known for serving ethnic and less-privileged groups through various educational programs and year-round charitable activities.

KEYS Academies Continues to Grow

KEYS Academies grow and expand services to all newcomers from the Middle East, Meso and South America and Europe.

Kalasho Education & Youth Services partners with CODE legal aid and expands its resettlement and legal aid advocacy.


Code Legal aid co-counsels with the ACLU to halt Iraqi deportations.

Mental Health

Kalasho Educational and Youth Services expands its mission to add metal health and therapy.

KEYS Food Service Expands

KEYS Food Service (KEYS Academy) becomes food service authority for dozens of institutions all across Michigan in hopes to enhance child nutrition and make school food better and healthier!
